"This ...is the Golden Snitch, and it's the most important ball of the lot. It's very hard to catch because it's so fast and difficult to see. It's the Seeker's job to catch it." - Oliver Wood
Walnut-sized, round and golden, the Golden Snitch is the final and smallest ball in a game of Quidditch. Its release marks the start of a match, and its capture heralds the match's end. Small and flighty, it is difficult to see and even more difficult to catch, so a seeker is required to have excellent perception and finessed coordination on a broomstick. The snitch is only catchable by each team's seeker - for any other player to catch the snitch would be to commit a foul known as a 'Snitchnip'.
Declare your status as the greatest seeker recruited to the Gryffindor team in over a century - or simply as an avid Quidditch fan - with these Golden Snitch earrings. The perfect accessory whether you've never mounted a broomstick or you're a seasoned Hollyhead Harpy!
