A huge sporting phenomenon in the wizarding world, Quidditch is a sport played on broomsticks. With four balls in play (the quaffle for scoring, two bludgers to knock players off their brooms, and the elusive golden snitch to end the game) and three hoops at each end, play is very simple. The chasers score by passing the Quaffle through their hoops with 10 points per score, the keeper guards the goalposts to keep the other team from scoring, the beaters keep the bludgers away from their team and knock them towards the opposing team, and the seeker seeks out the snitch. Capture of the snitch ends the game and awards the seeker's team 150 points, normally winning the game for their side as well.
