Nightmare on Elm Street is the story of several Midwestern teenagers who fall prey to Freddy Krueger, a disfigured midnight mangler who preys on the teenagers in their dreams - which, in turn, kills them in reality. Jason Voorhees is the main character from the Friday the 13th horror film series. He first appeared in Friday the 13th (1980) as the young son of camp cook-turned-killer Mrs Voorhees. He drowned as a boy at Camp Crystal Lake due to the negligence of the camp staff. Decades later, the lake is rumoured to be "cursed" and is the setting for a series of mass murders at the hands of Jason or in the name of Jason.
Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees have terrorised teenagers for years, in 2003 they returned to take some more victims but they also went after each other as well.
